Having had a much needed sleep we were all up for Diane taking us to a diner for our ‘first’ American breakfast. Rule 1, order nothing “large” as everything is too big anyway! Pancakes or French bread, bacon and eggs all too much together with at least 5 cups of coffee. Tout est grand !! A walk in the park was a post breakfast essential before picking up the rental car. A bit of shopping followed, some essentials and some non. The shopping ended with a drive through diary experience with over sized ice creams for all.
The day came to close with way to much wine, pleasant company and a nice meal courtesy of Diane, Fred and Luke. The wine we came to regret the following morning!!
